Gatherings Cafe

Gatherings Cafe seen from Franklin Avenue. The building has big windows and brown trim. A sign reads Gatherings Cafe.

Gatherings Cafe, an Indigenous cafe in the heart of the American Indian Cultural Corridor in Minneapolis, is reopen in a new space after being closed for more than a year for renovations.

The cafe strives to provide accessible, healthy, Indigenous food and knowledge to the urban Native and greater community in a good way. It serves fresh, locally grown foods that are prepared using innovation mixed with ancestral knowledge.

A new home

Gatherings Cafe has a new expanded space in the Minneapolis American Indian Center. The large space is filled with natural lighting and overlooks Franklin Avenue, a.k.a. “The Ave”. The cafe is open again in the new space for breakfast and lunch. We appreciated the continued support while we were closed for renovations and are excited to be serving the community again.
