Event Details

Family Fun Nights are monthly events hosted by the Culture Language Arts Network and other Minneapolis American Indian Center programs that offer family-friendly culturally tailored fun and Dakota and Ojibwe language learning opportunities.

This month’s theme is Bison, and the event is hosted in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Activities:

  • A food demonstration by Gatherings Cafe
  • A bison puppet art activity
  • Tradish Project activity led by Lumhe “Micco” Sampson
  • Bison-themed games led by Native Fitness and Nutrition (FAN)
  • Activities infused with Dakota and Ojibwe vocab words
