Event Details

An evening of cultural family-friendly educational activities hosted by the Culture Language Arts Network and other Minneapolis American Indian Center programs. This Family Fun Night theme is Spring in your Step.

Schedule:

  • Food demonstration with Gatherings Cafe Executive Chef Vernon DeFoe: 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Tradish Project teachings and dancing: 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
    • Jingle dance and grass dance teachings
  • Physical and art activities: 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
    • Art activity: Regalia dolls with Sydney Ockenga, Two Rivers Gallery curator
    • Physical activities in the gym
    • Dakota and Ojibwe language activities
  • Raffle: 7:30 – 8:00 p.m.
