Congregate Dining @ Congregate Dining

This program is provided by Senior Dining Choices, a service of Optage, the home and community division of Presbyterian Homes & Services.

Services:

  • Healthy lunch served Monday through Fridays (excluding Holidays) from 11:30 to 12:30 in the Seniors Congregate Dining Center (Seniors must arrive by noon, and be registered with the program to eat)
  • Transportation available for those in our transportation service area (contact Ken Danielson 612.879.1747 for eligibility)

Eligibility:

  • Must be age 60 or older
  • Must be registered with the Minneapolis American Indian Center’s Congregate Dining Program
  • Open to individuals of all races or ethnic backgrounds

Hoop Dancing @ Lower Gallery

Hoop Dance Lessons taught by:

Lumhe Micco Sampson, Seneca / Mvskoke Creek.

 

This is a FREE class and presented by Native CLAN

All Ages/levels welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult

 

Ojibwe Family Language Table @ Congregate Dining

We will be learning words and phrases to use in the home.

A light meal will be provided at 5pm and class to begin at 530pm

Dakota Family Language Table @ Community Art Space
Nov 19 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

 

We will be learning words and phrases to use in the home along with activities and games.

A light meal will be provided at 5pm and class to start at 5:30pm
