Tribal Liaison

To assist out-state tribes on behalf of their members or eligible tribal members and the courts in
developing a realistic case plan for Indian families involved with Child Protection in Hennepin County.
 W
hen requested to do so the Tribal Liaison would speak on behalf of the Tribe in court and act as a
liaison between the Tribe, Social Workers, Attorneys, and other Social Service providers.  The Tribal
Liaison ensures that the Tribe’s voice is heard in court.
