(Services available to families enrolled or eligible for enrollment in a Reservation outside the state of Minnesota)
To
assist out-state tribes on behalf of their members or eligible tribal members
and the courts in
developing a realistic case plan for Indian families involved
with Child Protection in Hennepin County.
When requested to do so the Tribal Liaison would speak on behalf of the
Tribe in court and act as a
liaison between the Tribe, Social Workers,
Attorneys, and other Social Service providers.
The Tribal
Liaison ensures that the Tribe’s voice is heard in court.
