Provides services to families at-risk of having child
protection involvement in Hennepin County, whom have or have had minimal
involvement with Child Protection Services.
The goal of this program is to prevent involvement or re-involvement in
the Child Protection system. The
outreach worker provides resource & referral, advocacy services and
emotional support for families, works to establish supportive relationships and
empowers families to build on their strengths.
The program provides short-term (3-6 months) in-home/office advocacy
services for Indian families who reside in Hennepin County.
