The Minneapolis American Indian Center has been designated as an Indian and Native American Employment and Training Grantee by the U.S. Dept. Of Labor, Division of Indian and Native American Programs.  Since 1974, MAIC has had the responsibility of Administering employment and training services to the unemployed, under-employed and economically disadvantaged American Indian population residing within the 71 county designated areas.
